Florentyna Parker: Sunshine Tour Ending
Best result at the end of the South Africa trip – 6th place in Cape Town
Best Result in Cape Town
To conclude her Sunshine Tour stint in South Africa, Florentyna Parker achieved her best result. On the challenging Par 74 course (6,276 yards) at Royal Cape Golf Club, the Hamburg native secured sole sixth place.
Florentyna Parker's Sunshine Tour appearances have been accompanied by Golf Lounge for several years as a training and preparation base. The Sunshine Tour itself is one of the established international pro series, in which young players compete under real tournament conditions – a completely different environment from training at home in Moorfleet, but closely connected to it.
For us as a training base, looking at a complete tournament block is interesting because it shows which aspects of preparation really carry: handling pressure over several weeks, consistency under fluctuating course conditions, clean routines under observation. Much of this flows back into our work with junior players, without us developing our own tour ambitions.
Individual tournament reports and results are linked in our news and blog area. Information on junior programmes, coaching and trial dates always runs through golflounge.de.

The Rollercoaster Round
The highlight of her third tournament on the Sunshine Tour was round two, which Flory herself described as a "rollercoaster round." With six birdies and an eagle, as well as unfortunately three bogeys and a double bogey, Flory achieved a three-under-par round (71 strokes).
An opening 73 and a closing 74 brought Flory to sixth place at four under par. Five shots behind winner Gabrielle Venter from South Africa.
"My game has improved week by week here in South Africa. I am very satisfied with a top-ten finish at the end."— Florentyna Parker
