The Swing Catalyst workshop combined two elements that already have a firm place at Golf Lounge: data-based motion analysis and coaching at a high level. Swing Catalyst works with pressure-sensor mats that record precisely how body weight shifts during the swing – information that, together with ball flight data from TrackMan, delivers a very precise picture of the individual movement. For the participating coaches from the Hamburg golf scene it was less about device training than about the didactic question: when does which data layer actually help, when does it only distract? From this perspective, existing coaching routines can be reviewed critically and developed further in a targeted way. Workshops and further training of this kind are part of Golf Lounge's self-image as a training base. As the first location in Northern Germany, Golf Lounge offers the opportunity to train with the Swing Catalyst Dual Motion Plate System. The coaches of the Hamburg Golf Association had the system demonstrated to them by our pro Christian Kirchner.
