Friend and Friend DGV are the subscription models at Golf Lounge Hamburg for people who play golf in Hamburg regularly – deliberately positioned as an alternative to membership in a closed golf club. Instead of an annual fee with an admission procedure you get a transparent subscription that permanently reduces the prices for range bookings and rounds on the 9-hole course and 6-hole short course. For regular players this works out cheaper per visit than a classical model and is more flexible to cancel.

Friend is aimed at people who play mainly at Golf Lounge itself: reduced prices on range, simulator, short course and 9-hole course, plus benefits in courses and coach lessons. Friend DGV additionally includes a DGV card, which allows play on external golf courses in Germany and abroad – so DGV membership Hamburg runs via Golf Lounge without joining a traditional club. A prepaid credit account can be added and used for bookings, coach lessons and hospitality – the credit works freely across range, simulator and restaurant.
Beginners should first take a taster course or the golf licence before subscribing; the subscription only becomes economically attractive once all the building blocks (range, short course, 9-hole, simulator) are used regularly.
