How do I book a hitting bay?

Visit golflounge.de and go to "Book Bay" via the menu. Select your preferred date, playing time, and a suitable bay (right-handed or left-handed, first or second level). After booking, you'll receive an email confirmation and can go directly to your bay – no check-in at the counter required.

What equipment is available at the hitting bay?

Each bay has three irons (suitable for right or left-handers). A ball box is ready for you to take as many balls as you need. Additionally, every bay features a TrackMan monitor for training, games, and virtual course rounds.

How do I know when my hour starts and ends?

The tee automatically rises when your booked hour begins. After exactly 60 minutes, it lowers automatically – so you always know exactly when your time is up.

Can I get drinks during my session?

Yes! There's a beverage vending machine at every bay area. Simply hold up your card and get your drink.

What's the difference between right and left-handed bays?

Right-handed bays are designed for right-handers (you stand left of the ball), left-handed bays for left-handers (you stand right of the ball). Each bay has appropriately matching clubs.

What's the difference between first and second level?

Both levels offer the same quality and equipment. The second level is accessed via stairs (bays from number 17 onwards). The choice is purely personal preference.

How do I use the TrackMan at the bay?

The TrackMan monitor at your bay is ready to use immediately. You can select various training modes, games or virtual course rounds. Operation is intuitive via the touchscreen.

Can I cancel my bay booking?

Yes, cancellations are possible free of charge up to 24 hours before the booked time. Log into your account and cancel the booking under "My Bookings".

How do I book a tee time?

Go to "Play Golf" in the menu and select your preferred course (6-hole or 9-hole). Choose your date and start time (maximum 4 tickets per booking). Friend subscription holders automatically receive the discounted price after logging in.

Where can I warm up before my round?

After booking, you can go to the Academy Area. There you'll find a ball machine (€2 for 24 balls) and hitting mats for warming up before heading to the first tee.

What awaits me after my round?

Whether after your round or after training at the bay – visit our ElbLodge for coffee, cake, or other food and drinks. The perfect finish to your golf visit.

What's the difference between 6-hole and 9-hole course?

The 6-hole course (Red) is shorter and ideal for beginners or quick rounds. The 9-hole course (Black) offers a full golf experience with more challenging holes. In winter (January-March), the 9-hole course is closed.

Can I play with multiple people?

Yes, you can purchase up to 4 tickets per booking. Ideal for groups of friends or family.

Do I need a handicap?

No official handicap is required for our courses. However, basic golf knowledge is recommended. Beginners can first complete a golf certification course.

How do I book a training session?

Via "Book Trainer" in the menu, select your preferred date and trainer. Booking is done through our partner PC Caddy – either with an existing account or after quick registration. Confirmation is sent via email.

How do I sign up for a golf certification course?

Under "More" in the menu, you'll find the certification course section. Here you can see all available dates – blue courses still have capacity, grey ones are fully booked. After registering with your details, you'll appear in our system and can come on the first course day.

Where do I meet my trainer?

For training sessions and certification courses, first come to our counter for payment. Then go right to the meeting table, where your trainer will pick you up.

Which trainers are available?

Our experienced trainer team consists of PGA-certified golf professionals with various specializations. On our Trainer Team page, you'll find all profiles and can select the right trainer for your needs.

What does a training session include?

An individual training session is tailored to your needs – whether technique improvement, game strategy, or mental coaching. All sessions use state-of-the-art analysis technology like TrackMan.

Are group lessons available?

Yes, in addition to individual lessons, we also offer group training and special courses. Ask us about current group offers.

What is the TrackMan Simulator?

The TrackMan Simulator is a high-precision golf analysis system that uses radar technology to measure and visualize every one of your shots in real-time. You can play virtual rounds on world-famous courses or optimize your training with detailed data.

Which courses can I play virtually?

TrackMan offers over 150 world-famous golf courses, including St Andrews, Pebble Beach, Augusta National (Masters) and many more. Experience legendary courses from around the world in Hamburg.

What data does TrackMan measure?

TrackMan captures over 20 different metrics, including: club head speed, ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, carry distance and much more. This data helps you specifically improve your game.

What games and modes are available?

In addition to virtual course rounds, TrackMan offers various game modes: Driving Range, Nearest Pin, Longest Drive, Bullseye and more. Ideal for training with fun or competitions with friends.

Is the simulator suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! The TrackMan Simulator is suitable for all skill levels. Beginners especially benefit from direct feedback on their shots and can practice in a relaxed atmosphere.

Can I play in any weather?

Yes, that's a big advantage of the simulator! Whether rain, cold or darkness – in the simulator you play in optimal conditions and can continue your training year-round.

How do I book the TrackMan Simulator?

TrackMan is included in every bay booking. Simply book a bay through our online system and use the integrated TrackMan for training, games or virtual rounds.

Do I need an account?

Yes, for bookings you need a free account at golflounge.de. Go to "Sign In" in the menu and create your account – it's quick and enables all future bookings.

What payment methods are accepted?

Online, you can pay with PayPal, Visa, or Mastercard. At the counter, we also accept EC card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash.

How do I get the Friend discount?

As a Friend subscription holder, you automatically receive the discounted price once logged in. The discount is displayed directly during booking.

Do I need to check in on site?

For bay bookings, you can go directly to your bay after online booking. For training sessions and courses, please check in briefly at the counter.
