Florentyna Parker Great Sunshine Tour Finish
Sixth place at the Cape Town Ladies Open – form is looking good!
To conclude her Sunshine Tour stint in South Africa, Florentyna Parker achieved her best result. On the challenging par 74 course (6,276 yards) of the Royal Cape Golf Club, the Hamburg native secured sole sixth place.
The Highlight
The highlight of her third tournament on the Sunshine Tour was round two, which Flory herself described as a "rollercoaster round." With six birdies and an eagle, but unfortunately also three bogeys and a double bogey, Flory managed a three-under-par round (71 strokes).
The Rounds
Round 1: 73 strokes
Round 2: 71 strokes (3 under par – Rollercoaster!)
Round 3: 74 strokes
Total: 4 under par – 6th place
"My game has improved week by week here in South Africa. I am very satisfied with a top ten finish at the end."
Now the task is to maintain this form before Florentyna Parker continues on the Ladies European Tour.
The tournament was won by South African Gabrielle Venter.
