Winter in Moorfleet, for us, above all means: actively protecting the course so that it is in good shape again in spring. The 6-hole summer course is therefore converted into a 9-hole winter routing, the large Black Course pauses, and greens are specifically relieved. This lets soil and turf recover before rising temperatures bring back heavier play. For players it changes the character of the course noticeably: holes are combined, winter tees and provisional greens are used, and the round becomes overall a bit quieter. Anyone who regularly uses the winter appreciates this phase – less crowding, clearer views, often surprisingly good conditions on mild days. In parallel, range, simulators, TrackMan and the Putt Course at the Elb-Lodge stay in operation. Current course conditions and closures are published daily on golflounge.de.

Winter is here again, and to ensure we have beautiful courses next summer, we need to actively protect our greens. Therefore, our annual trolley ban is in effect from November 1st to March 31st on all our courses.
