    The trend towards more electromobility in German cities is unbroken. However, for motorists to switch to environmentally friendly electric cars, the conditions must be created. Now the premiere is coming to Hamburg.

    Why that mattered

    Classic charging stations require their own trench, their own foundations and often a noticeable structural change. Retrofitting on an existing light pole considerably reduces this effort, because the power supply is already in place. For locations with limited space and the wish not to set additional concrete plinths, it is a pragmatic approach.
