Golf meets Rowing

What a spectacular season opener! The HGV Swing CAT kicked off spring with an unforgettable team outing on the Dove Elbe. With glorious sunshine, the team combined traditional rowing with a modern golf experience – a unique connection of two Hamburg sports traditions.

A Day Full of Experiences

The day began early on the water: historic rowing boats took us across the picturesque Dove Elbe, past the characteristic marshlands of Moorfleet. The shared rowing experience strengthened team spirit and worked up quite an appetite.

After the water sports came the second highlight: golf on the driving range at Golf Lounge. Whether beginner or experienced golfer – everyone visibly enjoyed their time at the tee. The coaches shared tips and tricks while the BBQ buffet was being prepared in the background.

The day concluded with a convivial gathering at the Elb Lodge overlooking the golf course. Hamburg specialties, cool drinks, and plenty of good vibes – the perfect end to a perfect day.
