    In June 2026 Golf Lounge Hamburg-Moorfleet hosted the Schulgolf-Cup 2026 and the state final of the DGV Schulgolf-Cup U14. Two days full of fair play, team spirit, strong scores and new records – here is the full recap.

    Schulgolf-Cup 2026 – a perfect day of golf full of fair play, team spirit and strong results

    Great conditions despite a forecast thunderstorm

    The Schulgolf-Cup 2026 at Golf Lounge showed its best side: dry weather despite a forecast rain and thunderstorm front, and ideal conditions on the course. A total of 18 teams teed off, played in the scramble format.

    Strong scores and a 300-metre drive on hole 2

    The teams delivered strong scores, including a sensational 7 under par on 9 holes. Highlight of the day: Maximilian and John of Gymnasium Rissen with a perfectly hit drive on hole 2 – around 300 metres past the willow into the apron. With this shot they ultimately secured first place.

    Gross placings 1 to 3

    In second place came Levi and Paul, a class team of Gymnasium Hochrad. Third place went to Richard and Noah of the U16 team of Gymnasium Hochrad – two teams of the same school on the podium.

    Net ranking: Gold for Heinrich-Hertz-Schule

    In the net ranking Lasse and Paul of Heinrich-Hertz-Schule won the gold medal with 29.5 points. Both train regularly in their school team at Golf Lounge. Friedrich and John of Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium took second place – only 0.25 strokes behind.

    Relaxed atmosphere and prizes for the winners

    The relaxed, fair atmosphere stood out: beginners and experienced players shared the course, the drivable greens added fun and tension. At the prize ceremony Golf Lounge vouchers were awarded for one hour on the TrackMan range or in the simulator.

    State final of the DGV Schulgolf-Cup U14

    Record participation in the U14 state final

    At the state final of the DGV Schulgolf-Cup U14 at Golf Lounge everyone stayed dry despite forecast rain and thunderstorms. With six teams in the state final a new record participation was reached.

    Precision, coordination and left-hand putting

    Besides precise shots there were coordination tasks, including a left-hand putting exercise. The girls of Gymnasium Oberalster set a new record in the one-legged drive with five hits in the last corridor and the maximum score of 25 points.

    Four hours of close racing – third place decided in a play-off

    Over four hours the teams produced a close race. The fight for third place was only decided in a play-off – a real thriller until the end.

    Gold for Gymnasium Hochrad II ahead of Gymnasium Grootmoor

    Victory and the gold medal went to the second team of Gymnasium Hochrad with Nike, Nuria and Benjamin – ahead of the team of Gymnasium Grootmoor with Johann, Constantin and Nils, who had been leading at halftime.

    Mini golf, prize ceremony and thanks to Golf Lounge

    During the scoring many participants explored the mini golf course at Golf Lounge. The U14 finalists also received the one-hour range and simulator vouchers described above. Big thanks go to Golf Lounge for the hospitality and the excellent course conditions.
