Plant My Tree 2023

Trees for the Future

With the "Plant My Tree" initiative, Golf Lounge Resort Hamburg is making a strong statement for climate protection. We have planted 1,400 trees to offset our ecological footprint and actively contribute to environmental protection.

The cooperation with Plant-my-Tree, for us, does not stand for a one-off campaign, but for the basic way we deal with our site: golf needs space, space needs care, and care can be laid out much more meaningfully with a clear eye on trees, soil and biodiversity than with lawn maintenance alone.

The specific contribution around tree planting complements measures that run on the grounds themselves – careful reuse of former industrial areas, differentiated care of the roughs, more retreat spaces for native species. For our guests, much of this is invisible at first, but becomes clearer year by year in the vegetation along the holes and around the Elb-Lodge.

We document such projects in our sustainability area and are happy to share concrete numbers on scope and impact on request. Current information for interested guests is available continuously on golflounge.de.

Our Tree Planting Initiative

Together with the organization PLANT-MY-TREE®, we have planted 1,400 trees. These trees help to capture CO₂ from the atmosphere and create new habitat for local wildlife and plants.

Our Contribution to Climate Protection

• CO₂ compensation through natural reforestation

• Creation of new habitats for animals and plants

• Long-term contribution to biodiversity

• Sustainable corporate policy in golf sports

• Role model for environmentally conscious action in the industry
