The HGV invited young girls to a taster day at Golf Lounge on September 14, and 50 enthusiastic participants accepted the invitation. A fantastic day with many happy faces and hopefully many new golfers in the making.

About the Event

The Hamburg Golf Association (HGV) is actively committed to promoting young talent in golf. With the "Golf Like a Girl" initiative, they specifically reach out to young girls who want to discover the sport of golf.

Golf Lounge Resort Hamburg provided the perfect setting for this special taster day on September 14, 2024. On the modern driving range and practice area, participants could practice their first swings under professional guidance.

In addition to golf training, fun and community were at the forefront. The young golfers had the opportunity to try various activities and connect with like-minded peers.

The open programme included stations on the range, putting attempts on the green and try-outs on the short course.

The share of women in many golf clubs is still noticeably lower than that of men.
